Eleven senior police officials, including the heads of the Special Branch (SB) and Tourist Police, have been transferred to new postings.

Additional Inspector General (Addl-IG) Sardar Nurul Amin, who served as the chief of the Special Branch (SB), has been transferred to the Police Headquarters. Meanwhile, DIG Md Kamrul Ahsan, following his recent promotion to the rank of Addl-IG, has been appointed as the new chief of the SB. The reshuffle involves a total of 11 senior officials being moved to new assignments.
