Severe doctor shortage in government hospitals: Health Minister
The Health Minister reported that only 30,311 doctors are currently serving in government hospitals against a requirement of 88,909.

According to the Health Minister, there is a significant shortage of physicians in government hospitals. While the required number of doctors stands at 88,909, only 30,311 are currently in service. The parliamentary session commenced at 3:00 pm, presided over by Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad, Bir Bikram.
