Switzerland maintains top spot in Global Innovation Index for 16th year
According to the 2026 Global Innovation Index by WIPO, Switzerland has secured the top position for the 16th consecutive year, followed by Sweden and the US.

Switzerland has retained its position as the global leader in innovation for the 16th year in a row, according to the World Intellectual Property Organization's (WIPO) Global Innovation Index 2026. The rankings place Sweden and the United States in the subsequent positions.
