Tarique Rahman will not attend BRICS summit in India

The State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh has announced that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will not be attending the upcoming BRICS summit in India. Furthermore, no representatives from the country will be sent to the event. Separately, Pakistan has clarified that there are currently no discussions regarding the inclusion of any additional nations in the Makkah defense pact.
