Turkey offers to support Saudi military needs under defence pact

Turkey has stated that it is prepared to assist in fulfilling Saudi Arabia's military needs under the terms of the 'Mecca Joint Defence Agreement' signed last month. The pact stipulates that an armed assault against any of the three signatory nations will be treated as an attack on all of them.
