UN report: Healthy diet unaffordable for 38.6% of Bangladeshis
According to a UN report, 38.6% of the population in Bangladesh could not afford a healthy diet last year, marking the second-highest rate in South Asia.
A recent United Nations report estimates that 38.6% of Bangladesh's population was unable to afford a healthy diet during the previous year. This figure represents the second-highest rate of food unaffordability in South Asia, trailing only Pakistan, where the rate was recorded at 63.0%.
