The United States State Department has authorized a proposed sale of military aircraft to Saudi Arabia, estimated at $24.3 billion. The package includes 48 fighter jets and 49 Pratt & Whitney engines.
In addition to the aircraft, the deal encompasses essential support items such as communications equipment and spare parts. The sale remains subject to final approval by the US Congress.
