The government has provided agricultural loan waiver benefits to 1.434 million farmers.
According to the finance minister, the government has disbursed Tk1,352.74 crore to banks to cover the agricultural loans of farmers included in the waiver programme. A total of 1.434 million farmers have received benefits under this initiative.
