According to recent Eurostat data compiled by Bangladesh Apparel Voice, total apparel imports by the European Union experienced a 9.96% year-on-year decline between January and May 2026. During this period, imports fell to €33.84 billion, compared to €37.58 billion recorded during the same timeframe in the previous year.
