Bangladesh is set to initiate formal discussions regarding a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the European Union starting next month, according to the commerce minister. This move is part of the country's strategic preparations for its upcoming graduation from the Least Developed Country (LDC) status.
In addition to the EU talks, the government is actively working toward signing bilateral FTAs with Malaysia and Indonesia prior to the LDC graduation timeline.
