Bangladesh repays double the amount of foreign loans received in Q1
Provisional data from the Economic Relations Division shows that Bangladesh paid back more than double the amount it received in foreign loans during the first quarter.
According to provisional data released by the Economic Relations Division (ERD), Bangladesh repaid $1.35 billion in principal and interest on foreign loans during the July-September period. In contrast, the country received $662.31 million in foreign loan disbursements during the same timeframe.
