Export activities through Benapole port have faced a sharp decline in the 2025-26 fiscal year. According to port data, the total volume of exports fell to 189,358 tonnes, compared to 381,440 tonnes recorded in FY2024-25. This represents a reduction of 192,082 tonnes. Reports indicate that deepening trade restrictions have significantly contributed to this ongoing crisis.
