The technical evaluation committee of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has proposed raising the price of a 12kg LPG cylinder by Tk139, bringing the total to Tk1,976. In addition to the retail price adjustment, the committee has recommended an increase in storage and bottling charges, as well as the commissions allocated for distributors and retailers.
