To reduce the nation's reliance on imports, BSRM is planning to set up a flat steel manufacturing plant with an investment of Tk10,000 crore. This facility is set to be the first of its kind in Bangladesh. According to the company, the plant has the potential to save approximately Tk15,000 crore annually in foreign exchange.
