The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has authorized Viasat to offer in-flight internet connectivity. The service is set to carry an annual fee of $2,000. This recommendation remains subject to final approval and the acquisition of necessary security clearances. Furthermore, a BTRC committee has proposed a review of the established $2,000 annual fee.
