The fisheries and livestock sectors in the Chattogram division have suffered financial losses totaling Tk287.25 crore due to recent flooding. Official reports indicate that approximately 44,800 hectares of cropland were damaged by the disaster. The floods have impacted a total of 287,735 farmers across the region.
