17.5 tonnes of misdeclared goods seized at Chattogram Port
Customs authorities have seized 17.5 tonnes of goods at Chattogram Port due to false declarations.

The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) has confiscated 17.5 tonnes of goods at Chattogram Port following reports of misdeclaration. According to a press release issued by the National Board of Revenue (NBR) on 28 September, the shipment included 9.26 tonnes of suspicious scrap paper, which had been incorrectly declared as printed paper catalogues.
