Data from the SME Foundation reveals that a significant portion of cottage, micro, small, and medium enterprises (CMSMEs) face challenges in accessing bank loans. The report indicates that only 9% of these entrepreneurs successfully obtain direct bank financing. Additionally, 14% of businesses manage to secure funding through microfinance institutions. Consequently, 77% of CMSME entrepreneurs remain without access to traditional bank loans.
