The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (Ecnec) is expected to approve the 'Rural Road Maintenance and Employment Project.' According to the Planning Commission, the initiative will be executed by the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) under the Local Government Division.
The project is estimated to cost Tk2,082.12 crore, with full financing provided by the government. The implementation deadline for the project is set for December 2029.
