Shama Obaed has indicated that remarks made by Gor concerning Boeing were likely directed at an earlier deal. During his visit to Bangladesh from 30 July to 1 August, Gor held a meeting with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to deliberate on the political and economic factors influencing the relationship between Bangladesh and the United States.
