The finance ministry has proposed reducing the monthly vehicle maintenance allowance for senior officials to Tk25,000.
The government is moving to reduce vehicle maintenance expenses for senior bureaucrats by half. On 9 July, the finance ministry issued a letter to the public administration ministry proposing that the maintenance allowance be adjusted to Tk25,000.
