The Ministry of Education has officially scrapped the deputy commissioner (DC)-led committee system previously responsible for the recruitment of non-teaching staff in MPO-listed educational institutions. By restoring the former recruitment process, the government has returned the authority to hire such staff directly to the governing bodies of the respective schools and colleges.
