The price of green chillies has reached Tk400 per kilogram in the retail market. Vendors are currently selling 100 grams of chillies for Tk40, while a 250-gram portion is priced at Tk100. Alongside the sharp rise in chilli prices, the cost of other vegetables also remains high, causing concern among consumers.
