Hawkers occupy Dhaka South's only escalator footbridge
Following their eviction from the New Market footpaths, hawkers have relocated their operations to the only escalator-equipped footbridge in Dhaka South.
After being evicted from the footpaths surrounding New Market, hawkers have established a new trading spot. They have now occupied the only footbridge in Dhaka South City Corporation that features an escalator, causing significant inconvenience for pedestrians.
