45% of Indian exports to US exempt from additional duties
Nearly 45 percent of India's exports to the United States remain outside the scope of the newly imposed 10 percent additional duty.

Approximately 45 percent of Indian goods exported to the United States are not subject to the additional 10 percent duty. Products currently regulated under Section 232 measures, such as steel, aluminium, and automotive components, are excluded from this new tariff structure. These exemptions apply to items that are not related to the use of forced labour.
