Indian-produced dates have become more prevalent in Bangladeshi markets due to the higher costs associated with importing from the Middle East. Sajjad Hossain, a wholesaler at the Khatunganj fruit market, reported that his establishment alone sells approximately 100 cases of these dates on a daily basis.
