Authorities have opened all sluice gates of the Kaptai Dam to alleviate pressure on the lake.
To manage the rising water pressure in the lake, all sluice gates of the Kaptai Dam have been opened. Despite the release of water, the hydropower station is continuing its electricity generation operations as normal.
