Eligibility of MPO-listed teachers for local polls depends on EC: Shahe Alam

State Minister Shahe Alam has remarked that the eligibility of MPO-listed teachers to contest in local government elections rests with the Election Commission (EC). He made these comments while speaking to reporters following a courtesy meeting between the Swiss Ambassador to Bangladesh, Reto Renggli, and the Minister for Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives, Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan, at the Secretariat.
