NBR proposes mandatory BIN for business bank accounts
The National Board of Revenue has requested Bangladesh Bank to make the Business Identification Number (BIN) mandatory for opening or renewing business bank accounts.

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has urged Bangladesh Bank to mandate the Business Identification Number (BIN) for the opening or renewal of business bank accounts. Additionally, the NBR has stipulated that a BIN will also be required for the issuance or renewal of trade licences.
