Non-life insurance profits rise despite 89% of claims remaining unpaid

Out of 43 listed non-life insurance companies, 41 have disclosed their financial performance for the first quarter of 2026. Data indicates that 33 of these firms experienced year-on-year profit growth, while eight reported a decline in earnings. Despite the rise in profits, 89 percent of non-life insurance claims remain unsettled.
