According to the Nuclear Power Plant Company Bangladesh Limited (NPCBL), the first unit of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant has successfully cleared the 16 MPa PORV test. The procedure commenced on the night of 29 September and was executed from both the Main Control Room (MCR) and the Emergency Control Room (ECR). Following this milestone, the project is now moving forward to the 18 MPa testing phase.
