S Alam Group cites banking restrictions for closure of 11 Ctg factories

S Alam Group has reported that it was compelled to shut down 11 of its factories located in Chattogram due to ongoing banking restrictions. The conglomerate noted that despite the suspension of production, it continued to pay employee salaries and allowances for several months in anticipation of a resolution to the crisis from the government and banking sector.
