Authorities have imposed fines totaling Tk14.8 lakh on seven companies for manufacturing and selling products without obtaining the required BSTI certificates and registrations. The list of penalized firms includes ACI Godrej and Aftab Feed.
The violations involved the production and distribution of poultry feed, fish feed, batteries, toiletries, and various food items that lacked the necessary regulatory approval.
