Central Bank grants special LC exemption to Shinepukur Ceramics
Bangladesh Bank has allowed Shinepukur Ceramics to open letters of credit for raw material imports under specific conditions.

The central bank has granted a special exemption to Shinepukur Ceramics, a concern of Beximco, regarding the opening of letters of credit (LCs). Under this arrangement, the company is permitted to import raw materials through Sonali Bank at a 100% margin until December 2027.
