Authorities have indicated the likelihood of short-term flooding across northern and southeastern parts of the country.
Reports suggest that short-term flooding is likely to occur in the northern and southeastern regions of Bangladesh. Data indicates that the highest daily rainfall for the month was recorded at 198 mm in Hatiya on 5 August 2026.
