Air traffic in the UK is gradually resuming following a major technical failure on Tuesday that caused a hours-long shutdown. The disruption led to the cancellation of more than 1,000 flights, leaving hundreds of thousands of passengers stranded. The incident has intensified pressure on the air traffic control provider, NATS, and its chief executive, Martin Rolfe.
