Bangladesh Bank launches Tk100cr fund to promote Bangla QR

To boost the usage of Bangla QR, the central bank of Bangladesh has introduced a fund worth Tk100 crore. Currently, the nation processes approximately 1 crore digital transactions on a monthly basis. However, Bangladesh Bank aims to scale this figure to 1 crore transactions per day by the conclusion of the current fiscal year. This initiative seeks to achieve a nearly 30-fold increase in digital transaction volume within a span of 10 months.
