Dhaka South launches automated traffic signals at Shahbagh, eyes 50 more intersections

The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has officially launched an automated traffic signaling system at the Shahbagh intersection. According to the DSCC administrator, the new system is designed to reduce the reliance on manual traffic control methods. However, officials emphasized that the success of the initiative depends heavily on public compliance with traffic regulations. The corporation has set a target to implement this automated system across 50 more intersections throughout the city in the coming phases.
