Economic zones planned on land of three closed state-owned mills

The Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (Beza) has announced plans to repurpose the land of three state-owned mills that have remained closed for a long time. According to officials, the initiative aims to transform these idle industrial assets into productive hubs. The project is designed to attract both domestic and foreign investment, facilitate the establishment of new industries, and generate employment opportunities.
