The state-owned Chittagong Urea Fertilizer Limited (CUFL) has suspended its operations due to a lack of gas allocation. The facility is currently incurring an average daily loss of Tk2 crore. In contrast, the public-private joint venture KAFCO continues to operate as it maintains its gas supply.
