PM calls for protecting water bodies to ensure sustainable fisheries

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has emphasized the necessity of protecting water bodies to ensure sustainable fisheries. She noted that the fisheries sector plays a critical role in addressing the nation's nutritional requirements. Furthermore, the sector contributes significantly to employment generation through various stages, including fish farming, harvesting, transportation, processing, and marketing.
