Marvel Comics is set to leave New York after nearly 90 years. The announcement was made to employees during a town hall meeting held on 16 July at the company's Midtown office.
Staff were informed that the publishing division will be relocated to Burbank, California. This location currently serves as the base for Marvel Studios and the parent organization, The Walt Disney Company.
