Proposal to increase MRT-5 Northern route cost by 126%

Following the MRT-1 project, a proposal has been submitted to increase the cost of the MRT-5 Northern route by 126%. According to TBS Bangladesh, the proposed hike is driven by high bidding costs, global inflation, and fluctuations in currency exchange rates.
