The donation boxes at the Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) Shrine in Sylhet were opened after an 18-day interval. In the presence of administrative officials and relevant authorities, a total of Tk 4,704,982 was recovered.
In addition to the local currency, various foreign currencies and gold ornaments were found inside the boxes. The foreign currency collection includes 135 Saudi Riyals, 20 US Dollars, 2,532 Indian Rupees, 22 Qatari Dirhams, 6 Malaysian Ringgits, 20 Hong Kong Dollars, 20 Euros, 1.450 Omani Rials, 54.20 UAE Dirhams, 4,000 Indonesian Rupiah, 60 Pakistani Rupees, and 10 Singapore Dollars.
